No. 22387 dated 26 February 2017 (29/05/1438 AH) entitled “Temporary ban of importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products” originated from Kuwait. Following the OIE reports, Ref. No. 22782 dated 9 February 2017, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (HPAI) outbreaks have occurred in Kuwait. In compliance with the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) Terrestrial Animal Health Code Chapter 10.4, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of HPAI into the country. Therefore, the import of poultry meat, eggs and their products (with the exception of processed poultry meat and egg products exposed to either heat or other treatments that ensure deactivation of avian influenza viruses) from Kuwait to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended. Following the OIE report, ref. No. 4, Vol. 30 dated 22 January 2017, which indicates that High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) outbreak has reoccurred in Kuwait, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of HPAI disease into the country. Therefore, the import of live birds, hatching eggs and one-day old chicks from Kuwait to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended. Objeto y razón de ser: Animal health. This order provides the rationale and the conditions in instituting this emergency measure imposing a temporary ban on the importation of poultry and poultry products from Poland. Refonte de la législation phytosanitaire pour l’harmoniser avec les normes phytosanitaires internationales édictées par la Convention internationale pour la protection des végétaux. Notificación: G/SPS/N/MAR/49 Projet de décret n°2-16-759 relatif à la qualité et la sécurité sanitaire des dattes et pâtes de dattes commercialisées. Ce décret vise essentiellement à: - définir les dattes; - définir les pâtes de dattes; - fixer les caractéristiques des dattes commercialisées par l’introduction des tolérances d’homogénéité et de qualité comme étant des critères cruciaux à prendre en compte pour la classification des dattes commercialisées; - fixer les caractéristiques des pâtes de dattes commercialisées; - prévoir les mentions d’étiquetage des dattes et pâtes de dattes commercialisées; - fixer les conditions à respecter pour préserver la sécurité et la qualité des dattes et pâtes de dattes commercialisées notamment en ce qui concerne l’obligation de l’autorisation sanitaire des établissements et entreprises de traitement, de transformation, d’emballage, de conditionnement, de transport, de distribution, d’entreposage ou de conservation et leur conditionnement dans des emballages répondant aux spécifications et exigences fixées par la réglementation en vigueur.
