Details of SG-RoHS is summarised below: • 6 Restricted Hazardous Substances: • Lead (Pb); Mercury (Hg); Hexavalent Chromium (Cr VI); Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs); Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) – Allowable Concentration Limits: Maximum 1,000ppm (0.1% by weight) • Cadmium (Cd) – Allowable Concentration Limits: Maximum 100ppm (0.01% by weight) • Controlled EEE: 6 identified EEE: mobile phones, mobile computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, panel TVs and washing machines (excluding spare parts and components which are sold separately) Note: EU-RoHS control includes all EEE and their spare parts, with certain exemptions. Objeto y razón de ser: Objective: To protect and enhance the environment by minimising the end-of-life environmental impact of waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) at the end of their useful life. Rationale: Hazardous substances, including heavy metals, are present in many EEE. Due to its high replacement rate and short life cycle, EEE also contributes to a fast growing waste stream. Considering that much of the waste EEE generated from households are incinerated at the waste-to-energy ITALIA Notificación: G/TBT/N/ITA/27 Draft decree of the Minister for Economic Development in conjunction with the Minister for Health setting out amendments to Ministerial Decree No 110 of 12 May 2011 on the implementing regulations of Article 10.1 of Law 1 of 4 January 1990 on Electro-Mechanical Devices Used by Beauticians (43 pages, in Italian).
