Automotive gasolines are essentially blends of hydro-carbons derived from petroleum and may contain se-lected additives that impart specific features to the finished gasoline. The hydrocarbons are derived from fractional distillation of crude oil, and associated pro-cesses that increase either the amount or the quality of the gasoline obtained. The resulting components vary from individual hydrocarbons such as, normal butane, to products that contain hundreds of different hydro-carbons. The properties of commercial gasolines are influenced by the refinery practices employed and the nature of the crude oils from which they are produced. Finished gasolines encompass a boiling range of about 30 °C to 225 °C. This standard specifies requirements and test methods for two grades of unleaded gasoline: Premium and Regular for use in spark-ignition internal combustion engines in Belize. Esta norma se aplica al diseño de sistemas estruc-turales de acero o sistemas con acero estructural ac-tuando en estructuras compuestas de hormigón ar-mado- acero estructural, en los cuales los componentes de acero se definen en NCh 4282. Esta norma incluye la Simbología, el Glosario, los Capítulos A al N, y Anexos 1 al 8. Adicionalmente se agregan comentarios y Notas. Esta norma establece criterios para el diseño, fabri-cación y el montaje de edificios de acero estructural y otras estructuras, donde las otras estructuras se defin-en como aquellas estructuras diseñadas, fabricadas y montadas de manera similar al de edificios, indicando de esta manera que sus elementos resistentes a car-gas verticales y laterales son similares a los sistemas resistentes de los edificios. En caso de que esta norma haga referencia al código de construcción aplicable, y dicho código no existiera, las cargas, combinaciones de carga, limitaciones estructurales, y requerimientos de diseño en general serán los establecidos en ASCE/SEI 7. Para todo efecto, se debe entender que el código de edificación aplicable (applicable building code) corre-sponde a la Ordenanza General de Urbanismo y Con-strucciones y a las Normas Chilenas vigentes. Cuando dichas condiciones no son cubiertas por esta norma, se permite que el diseño se realice basado en ensayos o análisis, con la condición que sean aprobados por la Autoridad Competente. Se permite el uso de métodos alternativos de análisis y diseño, en la medida que tales métodos sean aceptados por la Autoridad Competente. NOTA Para el diseño de miembros estructurales con-formados en frío con espesores inferiores a 25 mm (a excepción de secciones tubulares HSS), se recomienda aplicar las disposiciones de NCh427/2.
